RigidBody Tech LLC traces its history all the way back to the early 21st century where archivists discovered an electronic legal instrument filing heralding the formation of a Limited Liability Corporation in the State of Texas - one of the 52 States of Ancient America [1]. Interestingly, at that time, commercial space flight was in its infancy. Luna and Mars were uninhabited!
The founders were a local family living in a population center named San Antonio, located in what is now the Northern American Political District of Terra. Once Luna and Mars began to be inhabited on a permanent basis, RigidBody Tech LLC found great success in the Space Transportation, Security, and Weapons Development Industries. Over the Sols, RigidBody Tech LLC grew into a mining, colonization, and space vessel fabrication concern to eventually become the defacto leader in commercial interplanetary and interstellar flight operations.
Surviving all three Apocalypses of the 23rd and 24th centuries, RigidBody Tech emerged stronger than ever and post reconstruction, became a leader in the rebuilding effort for the defeated Mars colony as well as the establishment of most of the major spaces stations and raw material extraction operations in the Asteroid Belt, the Gas Giants and orbiting moons, as well as engaging in the many of first Interstellar missions.
Credited with numerous technical patents and inventions, RigidBody Tech remains a privately held concern, with the admittedly secretive and reclusive management and ownership team base of operations remaining on Terra. Branch offices and facilities can be found on every Solar System body and all medium gross tonnage and above vessels and stations.
As RigidBody Tech looks ahead to a continuing bright future – harvesting of the Kuiper Belt region, Gas and Liquid Extraction operations in the outer Gas Giants, as well as Research and Development efforts that continue to set the standard for interplanetary transportation services abound.
Recent investments in training and development of RigidBody Tech personnel – aka the RigidBody Tech Academy of Science and Weaponry continues to produce qualified technicians and Vessel Captains for all our clients Space operations needs.
